Leasing equipment through MTL Finance is straightforward. Here’s what the process looks like from start to finish.
In most cases, we don’t need a formal application form. For schools and established businesses, approval is usually quick — often within a day or two.
Once approved, your equipment is ordered and delivered. MTL Finance pays the supplier directly — you don’t need to outlay a cent beyond your first month’s payment.
You pay a fixed amount each month for the agreed term — typically 24, 36, or 48 months. Payments are predictable and easy to budget for.
When your lease ends, you have options. Upgrade to new equipment and start a fresh lease, extend your current agreement, or return the equipment. We’ll be in touch before your term ends to talk through what works best for you.
It takes five minutes to reach out. We’ll do the rest.

MTL is a privately owned New Zealand company and has financed 1,000’s of customers over 20+ years.
We have access to multiple funding lines which gives us not only stability but also flexibility for many different types of deals.
